Fur Fins n Feathers asks that you provide us with two sets of keys for your home. One set will be kept in a locked safe for emergency use. The other set will be kept in a lockbox – provided FREE to you when booking multiple (five or more) visits. For single visits, you may rent ($5 for use for up to 4 visits) or purchase your own Fur Fins n Feathers-approved lockbox. 

If you prefer not to use a lockbox, you have the option to hide a key in a location of your choosing or provide us with a garage or door code. If your home requires a fob or door code to gain access, we will need that fob or code as well. If you live in a gated community, we will also need that code to open the gate.  Other key arrangements may be made upon request but may involve a fee for extra pickup/drop-off visits.

App

During our Meet & Greet visit, if you decide to book Fur Fins n Feathers services, we will help you register on our mobile app (iPhones or Android). There, you will be able to enter your pet’s information, any special instructions, check our calendar for availability, book visits, and make payments. During actual visits, the app will announce our arrival and departure and allow us to send you a candid picture of your pet. You can also send us any special information about your pet or home at any time.

Booking Visits

All new clients must first schedule a Meet & Greet visitation (approximately 30 minutes) before registering on the Fur Fins n Feathers booking app. 

Once approved as a new client, all fees for pet or home visit bookings must be paid in advance of pet/home visits. Unavailability days/times for pet/home visits will be posted on the Fur Fins n Feathers app. You will receive confirmation notification for all requested visits.

All bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the pet/home visit. Same-day emergency bookings are available but will be charged at a 150% premium of the regular rate. Such premium rates will also apply to weekend pet/home visits. Holiday rates are explained below.

Any pet/home visit cancellations made the same day or later than 6 p.m. the day before the scheduled visit will forfeit the visit fee. However, cancelations due to emergencies and/or extreme weather conditions will be excused. Early cancellations may opt either for a refund or a credit to be used for future visits. 

Payment of fees

As previously stated, once approved as a new client, all fees for pet or home visit bookings must be paid in advance through the Fur Fins n Feathers app, website, or in person with the company representative. Accepted payments are by cash, Zelle bank transfer, or credit or debit card.

Holiday Rates

Double-rate fees are charged for all national holidays, including but not limited to New Years Eve and New Years Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Weekend, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Overnight Visits

Normally, Fur Fins n Feathers does not offer overnight visits for pet or house visits. However, such visits, if absolutely needed, will be considered and quoted individually upon request.

In all cases, only website-registered members are allowed to leave comments, which first must be administratively approved before public posting.
